Accessibility Statement

Purple Inc is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying WCAG 2.1 standards.​

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.


Purple Inc is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level A. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are working towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance over time.

 

Known limitations

  • Some third-party tools embedded on our site (e.g. Calendly booking) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are exploring alternatives.

  • The 'Skip to Main Content' link works for keyboard users but is not visually styled. We are working on this.

  • Some contrast issues flagged by automated tools are due to Wix platform infrastructure (theme variables, hidden elements) and cannot be resolved without changing platforms. We are reviewing alternatives.

  • Some text using our brand purple may not meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast on white backgrounds. We are evaluating darker shade alternatives.

  • Wix adds invisible navigation labels ('top of page', 'bottom of page') for screen reader users. These are flagged by automated tools as small text but are functional accessibility features.
