Introduction

They say that the 'only disability in life is a bad attitude'. 

It has taken me 30 something years to figure that, this in fact is true. I give credit to my wonderful family and friends for this realisation and dream of a world where this is the universal truth.  

My name is Nikhita, I am originally from New Delhi; and now, after some in-betweens, am living in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. 

I have 15 years of professional experience in the consumer retail industry and specialize in strategy, data, insights, team management, and DE&I. I am the founder and chair of the Disability Network (ERG) at my company, aimed to educate and create impact on disability inclusion. 

Having lived thus far with a physical disability I've had my fair share of interesting incidents and learnings as I went about life. So here I am, sharing my first hand experiences to provide a different perspective and to eventually turn those “bad attitudes” into “good” at any chance I get.
