Founder's Journey

I'm Nikhita, founder of Purple inc.

I spent seventeen years in leadership roles across strategy, insights, and operations at Nike Europe and Walmart India. I know how decisions get made at scale, how consumer trends evolve, and what it takes to build businesses that grow and last.

At Nike, I got the opportunity to reshape the company's accessibility agenda. I co-founded a 500-strong community, and embedded accessibility into Nike's commercial and brand agenda.

That work is the foundation of Purple Inc.

My personal experiences with accessibility gives me a first hand perspective. I am not just building this business, I am the consumer I am designing for.

My mission is to use accessibility as a design method and catalyst for innovation. When companies design from constraint, they build products and services inherently designed to remove frictions and be universally experienced by all. And in the process, we get a society that works better for everyone.

Purple inc. works with founders, executives, and teams to embed accessibility into strategy, culture, products, and consumer experience. The goal is always the same: future-proof businesses that outperform, that consumers love, and that teams are proud to stand behind.
